Chanter 232A, 38

  1. Residence, curate and lecturer: I do not reside, My Lord, on my Cure, I have a resident Curate, the Revd Mr Joseph Hole, who is duly licenced. I allow him thirty five pounds a year which with the perquisites amounts to forty. There is no Lecturer.

  2. Other benefices: I have another the Parish of Willand in the Deanry of Tiverton.

  3. Divine service at other churches: My Lord I perform Divine Service in a Chaple belonging to the Family.

  4. Frequency of divine service: My Curate Served the Church twice a day with a sermon in the morning and afternoon, till the Late Bishop by his indulgence permitted him to Serve Washford Pyne.

  5. Frequency of communion: Four times a year. Between twenty and thirty Communicants.

  6. Catechising of children: In the Summer Season.

  7. Church fabric: The Church and Chancel in good repair, and the Church yard decent.

  8. Glebe terrier: There is a terrier lodged in the office.

  9. Number of families: About four {and} or five and thirty.

  10. Chapels: No Chaple.

  11. Papists, dissenters and meeting houses: There are no Papists, and very few, if any, Dissenters.

  12. School, alms-houses, hospital and charitable endowments: There is no School, there is a Poor House, but no {endow ment} Endowment.

  13. Charity: There is no Charity of any kind.
